GridMaps (“we”, “us”), a trading name of 36 Holding Ltd, is a software development studio based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, working with clients around the world. This policy explains what personal information we collect through gridmaps.tech, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the laws of Bangladesh and the data protection laws that apply where our clients are, such as the GDPR, the UK GDPR and Australia's Privacy Act 1988.
Information we collect
- Contact form: your name, work email, company website, whether you are an agency or a business, what you need, and any details you choose to share.
- Call bookings:when you book a call, Calendly collects your name, email and the time you choose, under Calendly's own privacy policy.
- Job applications: your name, email, phone number, portfolio link, CV, cover letter and photo, if you provide them.
- Usage data: if analytics are enabled, pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location and how you arrived at the site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
How we use it
We do not sell personal information. We do not use it for any purpose you would not reasonably expect.

Cookies and analytics
We may use Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking and Microsoft Clarity to understand traffic and improve the site. These services set cookies and may record how pages are used, such as clicks and scrolling. Clarity masks text you type into forms. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on.
Our job application form uses Google reCAPTCHA to prevent spam, which is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the business, such as our website host (Vercel), database and email providers, Calendly, and the analytics services above. They may store data outside your country, including in the United States. We take reasonable steps to make sure they protect it.
If you are an agency and we work on your clients’ projects, we treat any client data we can access as confidential and use it only to deliver that work, under the NDA or agreement we sign with you.
Overseas disclosure
Our team is based in Bangladesh, so information you send us from other countries is accessed in Bangladesh. We protect it with access controls, encrypted connections and confidentiality obligations on everyone in the team.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and project correspondence for as long as needed to work with you and to meet legal obligations, and job applications for up to 12 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email hello@gridmaps.tech and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country, for example the ICO in the UK, your local supervisory authority in the EU, or the OAIC in Australia.
Security
We use HTTPS across the site, restrict admin access, and store data with reputable providers. No system is completely secure, so please do not send passwords or payment details through our forms.
